Whither the sands of Santa Pola
Sea lapping its timeless bays,
In the distance mountains shimmer
Reflecting sunlight born of ancient days.
Summer’s heat burns salt laden lakes
Leaving sparkling crystals scraped by hand
To towering mounds of saline glaciers
Destined for some foreign land.
Fishermen ply their ageless trade
From lumbering hulks or fragile boat.
Storms or wind makes seas a soaring
Mass for those afloat.
Isle of Tabarca off its shores
An image in outlying haze,
‘Twas home to those who lost their way
In mystical, ancient days.
Castle standing in the centre
Proud and monumental stead,
Visited by Moors and Christians,
By those who mourn and those who wed.
A town whose past was shaped by many
Their hearts no longer beat.
A place where memories linger
Among dust and enervating heat.
Open Question: How to decide on the right jetski?
My family and i just came home from a week long vacation up at Torch Lake. While up there a friend of my dads let us barrow his GTX 4-tech 250 hp supercharge 2 seater jet skis…..WOW! Those were awesome! So my dad and i decided we needed some. Were looking for two (preferably used) jet skis. But new works too. I really like the Sea Doo models but i am slightly slanted because of the ones i just rode for a week straight. Were looking for something fast but nothing that’s going to break speed records. If you have any suggestions PLEASE PLEASE respond i would GREATLY appreciate it.
